The place was super nice, I would say better than the pictures and the owner was really welcoming, he made us feel at home straight away. Helped us to order some dinner, gave us directions and made us a lovely breakfast. He is always available if you need help. The beds were comfy (double bed mattress was a lot comfier than single that’s the only comment). Air con, mozzy nets, washing machine - couldn’t have asked for much more.

We had an incredible experience at Mango Japanese House! The owner is exceptionally friendly, making us feel truly welcome. The delicious fresh breakfast and dinner were a highlight, though ordering in advance is necessary. The cozy, clean, and private houses, along with the great pool, provided a refreshing escape. Surrounded by lush greenery, it felt like a real paradise garden – a peaceful retreat away from noise, offering genuine privacy. Highly recommend for a serene getaway!

A great hotel run by a lovely family. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious, and the location is very convenient—just a short walk from the train station and close to the airport (about a 10 minute drive). A delicious breakfast was provided, and the couple even kindly gave me a mango from the tree in front of their home. I would highly recommend this place. Angelo was very helpful with arranging a driver, booking last minute hotel reservations, exchanging money, giving us sim cards etc. The place was very clean and very close to the airport. 100% worth its money and very convenient especially if you arrive very late at night as we did.

The nicest host and room we had in sri lanka, they are really amazing. Room is big very clean with great air-conditioning, amazing shower and toiletries. We were really happy there and would not have minded to stay an extra day. In Negombo is great for shopping and restaurants and very easy to reach the airport! Free drop off in the morning was perfect!
