We loved our stay here. It was so peaceful and the view of the lake is very beautiful. We had lunch and dinner and both meals were amazing! Really good home made rice and curry. We also took the boat to cinnamon island and saw how it was made. If you’re looking for a quiet place to relax and see Koggola lake and walk to the beach I would highly recommend!

I cannot thank the owners enough of this guest house. I was involved in an incident which resulted in being admitted into hospital, and the owner went above and beyond to make sure I was okay, checking in with me at the hospital and bringing me food. I’ve never seen such kindness in all my life. The location is amazing and the room was a good size with a nice clean bathroom. They sorted a bike out for me no problem, and are just the most amazing people! Thank you again so much! Definitely recommend!

This place is amazing, we went for couple of days and then travel around the country and finally we spent the whole month. Nice views in the rooftop, rooms are so confortable, the food is amazing, the best place we ate was there, better than any other restaurant around. They have a real 5 star chef in the kitchen. There is 1 min by walk to the best surf spot plantation, Chathu helps you with everything. Anything you need just ask him. And the staff, baba, ran malli, etc are incredible. They make you feel as you were at home. We left from this place after a month feeling that we now are part of this amazing family.

This was my first time that i traveled to Sri Lanka.Owner of the hotel helped me to arrange transportation from air port and i checked from other places.When we compare with other application and tour counter .Hotel transportation was the cheapest.we relaxed in pool and it was amazing. I immediately felt warm from the first moment when the hosts welcomed me with their utmost friendliness. They helped me with everything with kindness and gave me an extremely peaceful space. The room I stayed in was very large, oversized bed, clean and comfortable bathroom. Their house is also superconvenient for going to the beach, restaurants, shops, taking the bus to other places and has a nice view. I also especially love their meals, which are very very yummy. I was really nostalgic when I left here. I am deeply grateful everything they did for me and will come back to stay for a long time next time.

So cozy, clean, comfortable and nice place, green garden, calm and in side from the noise of the main street, at the same time not so far away from the beach and a lot of nice areas and restaurants. There were fridge and tea pot, place to work. And the hospitality was really great. If i come back again to Unawatuna i will stay there again.
