Stayed for 3 nights and this was our favourite place during our Sri Lanka trip. Homely feel and amazing food and service. Enjoyed the library and endless cups of excellent tea. Our room was comfortable and clean, lots of hot water. Wifi worked very well in the library area. Tea tasting was interesting and some nice walks in the area. Thanks to Dave and the staff for a memorable stay :)

I was positively surprised. It was actually one of the top accommodations for me in Sri Lanka. I liked everything about it. Especially the comfort and every detail of the room. The bed, the pillows, the armchair, the wardrobe, the desk, the lights, the kettle. Super clean. Very soundproof and quiet, which is quite important to me. Dilini is super nice, speaks English extremely well and is also interesting to talk to. And it was the perfect balance of helpfulness and privacy, which I appreciate. The restaurant across the street has great food for a good price. I was also able to go for some beautiful walks in the surrounding neighbourhood. I would book here again if I am in the area.

The food was amazing and the staff Christopher, Ashoka and Silva were amazing . The staff was very attentiveand helpful. The rooms were clean and the location was nice too. Enjoyed the stay.

Amazing experience, beautiful location, wonderful staff, excellent service, lovely staff, relaxing peaceful place, they arranged kandy city tour for me by tuktuk, delicious food. I would love to go there again. comfortable stay, extremely clean.

This was our second stay at Ashburnham Estate, and once again, it exceeded all expectations. This was the perfect place to stay in Kandy. Up in the hills with a balcony area where I enjoyed my coffee while watching monkeys, birds and surrounding nature. Also a great night's sleep ok a comfy bed with no noise except the rain on the roof. Suraj, the host, is freindly and accommodating, never hesitating to attend or answer questions I had. The room had good WiFi that I used to work from and take Skype calls. And the bathroom had hot water to shower. I booked two night initially but stayed an extra two.
