The family that lives here has been super kind to us, they have given us recommendations of places to visit and they have brought us closer to their culture. In addition, the breakfast was excellent and they gave us a welcome appetizer. The house is beautiful, it is in a quiet area surrounded by nature and with incredible views. The room was very clean, the beds are comfortable, there is air conditioning and a private terrace. The bathroom is very good and has hot water.

The best stay I've ever had. Memorable for life for sure! I was so stressed out by Kandy's hectic city vibes, that their beautiful hotel felt like an oasis (just as it looks and feels like on the photos). I had completely forgotten about dinner, and was surprised with scrambled eggs on toast (my favorite!). Chanaka & Moon are two beautiful people, who look after their guests wonderfully. Even though I would not like to visit Kandy city again, I would visit again only to stay at Villa Olde Ceylon for multiple days <3

This Villa is a wonderful place, hidden from the busy city of Kandy but just 15’ by tuk tuk to the lake and the Tooth temple The room is huge, clean and nicely decorated…the owner is the artist :) Bathroom is perfect with hot water There is a garden in front of the room very quiet. The owner was really friendly and helpful, he organised us airport pick up and was eager to explain how we could get to the next destination of our trip. Also, the breakfast was delicious.
