Shalom Villa is a home away from home. Nilu and Iresh make you feel welcome right away and help you with all your travel needs. The guesthouse is away from the noisy and bustling center, but within easy reach using the PickMe App for inexpensive and fast transportation. Coffee and tea are always available and shops are in close vicinity. I also liked the stroll down to the river. With so much nature around one might forget to be still in Colombo. The host is just extremely nice! Thanks to her, it feels more like a home rather than guesthouse. Place is close to everything you might need, within 10-15 minutes ride to majority of places. The neighbourhood is quiet and safe.

Beautiful design, very helpful employees with smile on their face all the time. Good location that is close to city and has silence. Amazing room. This is a cute place with all facilities you would require for a leisure trip. The host, Gamini is exceptionally helpful and helped us a lot with finding a car for our further travels. Also, us being a group of vegetarians, it is very hard to find vegetarian breakfast, but Gamini incorporated all our requests for our breakfast! The place is also very close to the city center and we enjoyed the views in the mornings on the rooftop.

The rooms are spotlessly clean, neat, and designed to provide maximum comfort. The environment is stunning, especially with the serene riverside view that adds so much charm and peace to the stay. What impressed me further was the reasonable pricing, which is more than justified for the exceptional service and experience they provide. For me, this place has become more than just a hotel—it’s my second home. Whenever I return to Sri Lanka, I won’t be looking for another place to stay, because I’ve already found the perfect one. 💖
