Lovely hosts, they helped organise transportation for us to and from Pidurangala rock for sunrise as well as a car from their home stay to our next location, Kandy. Our safari was also suggested and arranged for us by our hosts. The little things go a long way. We arrived in a downpour and our hosts very kindly met us both by the cars with umbrellas whilst they helped us with our bags. Breakfast was delicious, too and we were enjoyed having dinner with the hosts on the first evening we arrived. When staying at Yashi’s place, you must visit the Lady Cafe at the end of the road - this was a great recommendation by the host and the best food we had throughout our whole trip in Sri Lanka. The room was large and clean. The gardens surrounding Yashi’s place were beautiful - we especially enjoyed seeing the peacocks in the trees as we ate our meals!

Apsolute amazing! The best place we stayed in Sri Lanka, we had perfect vacation place to rest afrer safari or climing the Lion's rock. The private pool is just phenomenal, the food that hosts prepare for you, we had every meal at the accomodation and did not regrate it! Staff - amazing couple willing to help with everything!

The hotel has large rooms with everything you need for a trip. The location is close to the main attractions, but it is quiet inside at night. The hotel territory is lovingly decorated. The owner was super polite and super kind. Both breakfast and lunch were delicious, I don't even know what else we could wish for.

The host and family were so welcoming, and even provided us with a safari tour. He is very skilled and we managed to always be the first ones to see the elephants as he knows the area very well. The rooms were clean and spacious, with a great bathroom and shower. The breakfast provided every morning was delicious and we sat on the porch overlooking the garden. It’s in a great location close to some lovely restaurants and a short drive from lions rock. I couldn’t recommend this Homestay enough, we really enjoyed our visit.

The place is a cosy Sri Lankan local guest house, the hosts are a nice family. They offered us tea and made great local breakfast with local food and fruits. We could also ask for dinner, which was a great amount, several types of local food and fruits. You have to pay separately for tea and food, but the prices are not high and the amount and quality is very good. Local sights are in walking distance, but be careful to get home by foot before dark or get a tuktuk to get home after dark. Roads are quite bad, not all cars can enter after rain, but tuktuks always can. Sitting on the terrace in the evening and listening to the sounds of the jungle is a great and calm experience, and having breakfast with such a view is amazing. By choosing this place, we feel like we could really contribute to a local business despite being a mainstream tourist.

Views are amazing as they look and the family can’t do enough for you! Whether that is fresh coconuts, playing cricket, singing, helping organise trips/tuk tuks or special spicy sambal. Dinner was good and breakfast was lovely overlooking the rice paddies and rock. Also a nice lake a short walk away. I’d recommend here and happily come back. Also do ask for top room, I was luckily to get it and watching sunset from bed was lovely
