After a month traveling in Sri Lanka, this has been the best place we have stayed. Located in a quiet place, The house is very big and beautiful. Both the room and the bathroom are huge. The bed is big and very comfortable. Everything was super clean. Ashan and his family are lovely, they helped us and gave us information of what we needed. The breakfast was plentiful and varied (every day we tried different dishes). I totally recommend this stay if you come to Galle (the city is 15 minutes by tuktuk).

We had an amazing stay at Stuthi villa, it is a quiet place with a beautiful swimming pool. The room was very nice with an amazing outside shower. The breakfast was very good and the staff is very friendly. I would totally recommend this place to anyone! A special thanks to Stephane and the staff for welcoming us and making us feel like home!

Great location. The room was not large but adequate for us. The breakfast was wonderful. Fresh fruit omelet, toast, yogurt, and juice. Pool was an added bonus before breakfast and on return from day out. The staff are all so friendly and helpful. With only 4 rooms it is not crowded. 100% would stay again

Lady of the house Aroshina, her husband anf their 2 kids make you feel like home. The design makes you feel like in an exotic country (which Sri Lanka is:)) and the distance to the Fort and downtown of Galle is 15 min walk. The neighborhood is very calm and clean. The room itself is a heaven: original design, the bed is the biggest and the most comfortable we have had in 2 weeks in Sri Lanka. Especially, we appreciated the air-conditioning in the room, which allowed us to spend 2 awesome silent and cool nights. The hosts were there for us whenever needed, and what we especially appreciated were the tuktuk pick up and drop off as we were travelling by public transport in this part of Sri Lanka. Briefly: IF POSSIBLE, WE WOULD SCORE 11 and not “only” 10.

Beautiful colonial style place, amazing pool with lights. Very friendly people, helpful, took us to a great local place (Mami’s) and overall a great stay.

We liked that the accomodation has a washing machine. The breakfast was nice too on a quiet terrace in the jungle. We would definitely visit Turtle Lamp again if we go back to Sri Lanka.

Beautifully decorated place in an old but reworked house. Excellent breakfasts. Sabri, the owner, is fun to talk to, Savita is an efficient manager, and the staff, including Lahiru, Theekshana and Oshadi, are diligent and solicitous.
