Excellent accomodation! Before our travels, we got contacted by tharindu who helped in providing bus schedules to arrive to the accomodation, as well as arranged a safari with hotel pick up for us. On check-in we were greeted by the very helpful and nice hostess! She woke up early to prepare coffee for us before heading to Yala safari, and also prepared us a small breakfast on our return. Also arranged tuk tuk ride to the nearest bus station on our check out. One of the best accomodations we visited in Sri Lanka, with hot water, spacious bedroom and nice river view from terrace. Would definitely recommend!!

We had an amazing stay thanks to our incredibly kind and helpful host! He went above and beyond to make our visit unforgettable. He organized a fantastic safari for us and even took us on a special night trip to see bats and crocodiles with flashlights. On top of that, he gave us a tuk-tuk ride and offered transport to our next destinations, which was very thoughtful and convenient. The food was delicious and reasonably priced, and our room was very good – clean, comfortable, and with excellent air conditioning. The host’s positive attitude and genuine care for his guests truly made the difference. His hospitality deserves all the recognition! I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. Thank you for making our stay so special!

Our stay in this beautiful treehouse was absolutely amazing. The accommodation was super clean and organized. The location is perfect - in the middle of the jungle with a beautiful view over the lake. I also recommend you to try the dinner and breakfast - both were delicious. And the most special thing about this place: spending time with such a warmhearted and kind family. We would have loved to stay much longer to share more moments and conversations with them. They took such good care of us. When we took the bus to Ella they even joined us at the bus station to make sure we catch the correct one.

I had an amazing stay at V Cabanas! The host is a great person. I was scammed during a safari and when I came to V Cabanas the day after, the host and his friend figured out how I was scammed (I was taken for a "safari" out of the official Yala Park). They offered to take me to the police and they did all the communications for me. He and his friend treated me like I never was before in all my travels. If you need to feel in safe hands and that you will find help when needed, come here. The accomodation it self is excellent. Super clean room and bed sheets, with new modern bathroom. I have only positives to say about the hosts and the room it self!

The location which is very good best for your safari. Moreover if you aren’t planning for safari the host will tell you the route to find out some animals. The breakfast was exceptional just loved it.

Wow - what a place! We felt like home. The tree house is super cozy and fairly new, the views out to the rice fields is amazing, you can see lots of peacocks and flying bats at sunset too. The owner and family is super friendly and sweet, their daughters and dog Bruno too. The treehouse is in the garden of the family but you have your privacy and they have theirs. They cooked dinner for us and it was the best meal we‘ve had so far. So delicious! They organized a morning safari for us (the owner is a safari driver and his brother too) and welcomed us with a fresh coconut from their garden when we returned. It‘s nice to go for a walk in the neighborhood. There is one street dog who waits by the entrance and/or plays with Bruno. He‘s super cute (but shy and keeps distance to people) and we fed him plain cookies. He loved it.

perfect place to stay to visit Yala national park ! totally recommend! the host is friendly, kind and super available. the room was quiet and clean. we sleept really well. the host prepared for us also a great typical srilankan breakfast !
