Everything was just perfect! Quiet place close to a nice beach with a very shallow water. One can walk at low tide to Nilaveli beach (15 min walk). Brenda was a perfect, talkative and helpful host as well as an excellent cook. One can refill bottles with a drinking water at the property. Nice well equipped huts with comfortable bed. 10 and 15 min by tuk tuk to Upuveli and Trinco, respectively. Surprisingly no mosquitoes (the first place without them during our 3 weeks travels in Sri Lanka). If you look for peaceful quite oasis this place is for you. Highly recommended!

Pleasant Park Holiday Inn was exactly that - pleasant! The room was even better than in the pictures and I was surprised with the cleanliness of it. The staff was very approachable and not obtrusive. The owner was very fun to talk to as he has interesting stories from all over the world. I would gladly recommend this stay!

This is a great place to stay. My room was very nice and the facilities were good and everything was clean. I really enjoyed having animals around and the owner is the kindest. I only wish I could have stayed longer.

A perfect couple of days staying at this wonderful new property in Uppeveli. The room was very spacious and light, the mattress and bed were really comfortable, the bathroom is also wonderfully soacious with 2 very good showers. Beyond the bedrooms, there are plenty of more communal spaces (currently no seating, but you can easily take the chair from your bedroom out here) and a wonderful veranda surrounding the whole of the 1st floor. The host is incredibly kind and helpful, and is able to arrange tours with his contacts if you would like. Location wise, it is down a quiet lane just off the main road, making it easy to access yet remarkably peaceful. You can access the beach a 5 minute walk away, which is perfectly okay if you would like to go for a beach walk or watch a gorgeous sunrise with the locals out on their finishing boats. Beyond that, just a 5 minute Tuktuk ride away is Fernando’s bar, which has a lively beach bar feel, catering for any kind of food, with hammocks and sun loungers under the palms, and beach parties every night. 5 minutes in the other direction from the hotel is Trincomalee, allowing you to see the more cultural side of the area. All in all, this great new property is great value, in the ideal location to explore the areas easily, and with a host who bends over backwards to accommodate you- if you are looking for a place to stay near Trincomalee, this is the place to go.

One of the best accommodations we've stayed in in Sri Lanka. Rooms are very spacious, clean, comfortable, and with plenty of shelves to organise your stuff. The manager also organised a bike and a tuk-tuk for us. Everything at very reasonable prices. Highly recommended!

Excellent value for money. Newly built (it only opened in March). It’s clean, comfortable, quiet and has excellent wifi. There are only three rooms. The owner lives nearby, is friendly and always very quick to answer WhatsApp messages. It’s basic and no frills but for such a cheap price a really good place.
