Best guest house I stayed at in Sri Lanka so far. Probably the best place to stay in Trincomalee. Excellent value. The whole place is incredibly clean, tidy and hygienic. 10 second walk to a beautiful beach. The room is spacious enough to practice yoga/ exercise. The family owners are very kind, relaxed and accommodating. I felt really good here and wish I could have stayed longer. Rent your moto here, I didn’t even ask the price because I instantly trusted the owner when I met him and was given a fair rate when I checked out. I would come back here without a doubt. 100% book this place if you come to trincomalee.

This place is such a hidden gem! 2minutes away from Coral beach! And surrounded with greenery! The cabins especially the bathroom looks beautiful! And Brenda is the sweetest person & such a good cook! Yummmm! Loved all the conversations we had over dinner! Kajaa drove us around for a sightseeing trip! Don’t miss out on this! My little girl is asking me when we can go back to Brenda! We all loved this place !

I had an amazing two-week stay! The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The homeowners are truly lovely — caring, attentive, and always there if needed, yet never intrusive. As a solo female traveler, I felt completely safe and at home. The owner even arranged for a trusted friend to pick me up from the airport — such a thoughtful gesture which I appreciate a lot! The shared terrace and patio are very nice for relaxing. The location is fantastic: the beach is just 2 minutes away, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. I felt so comfortable and welcomed throughout my stay - truly a place I would recommend to everyone! Thank you so much for everything!

We had the best experience here because the owner is absolutely lovely! He is so nice, can arrange everthing for you and he is an amazing cook! Every morning we had the Sri Lankan breakfast because this was so delicious and every evening we also ate at the hotel because we loved the food the owner made for us! Tip: you should ask for the ‘Kothu Roti’, he makes this so good!

The owner is incredibly nice! He tries to accomodate for everything you ask. He organized 2 activities for us, our laundry and helped us with figuring out the bus schedule. The location is also pretty nice, only minutes away from the beach, and a few minutes tuktuk ride to all the highlights. Highly recommend!

What a lovely place to stay! We were so happy to witness and admire the great job the Host- Prashanth does helping all the animals in need. Prashanth is a beautiful and very kind person who literally restored our belief in humans. We very much recommend it to pet lovers, and we were happy to know that by staying there we take part in helping the animals. You can see there the sweetest furry friends, and we fell in love with each one of them! The room had everything we needed and the homestay is only a few minutes from the beach and all the amenities . The host is very helpful in arranging tuk tuk, bus tickets and recommending places to eat real local food. We would love to be back there and see all these beautiful faces again! A perfect couple of days staying at this wonderful new property in Uppeveli. The room was very spacious and light, the mattress and bed were really comfortable, the bathroom is also wonderfully soacious with 2 very good showers. Beyond the bedrooms, there are plenty of more communal spaces (currently no seating, but you can easily take the chair from your bedroom out here) and a wonderful veranda surrounding the whole of the 1st floor. The host is incredibly kind and helpful, and is able to arrange tours with his contacts if you would like. Location wise, it is down a quiet lane just off the main road, making it easy to access yet remarkably peaceful. You can access the beach a 5 minute walk away, which is perfectly okay if you would like to go for a beach walk or watch a gorgeous sunrise with the locals out on their finishing boats. Beyond that, just a 5 minute Tuktuk ride away is Fernando’s bar, which has a lively beach bar feel, catering for any kind of food, with hammocks and sun loungers under the palms, and beach parties every night. 5 minutes in the other direction from the hotel is Trincomalee, allowing you to see the more cultural side of the area. All in all, this great new property is great value, in the ideal location to explore the areas easily, and with a host who bends over backwards to accommodate you- if you are looking for a place to stay near Trincomalee, this is the place to go.

Central location....food outlets, bank atm, supermarket and train station close by. Also nice beach nearby which we did not visit due to lack of time. Basic but functional rooms in quiet environment. Host arranged tuk to rail station Rs 300. Overall pleasant stay and great value for money.

Nice hotel, clean, comfortable, great location - practically on the beach. The owner is a great host, super helpful and responsive on WhatsApp. Scooter rental available at the property. On our last evening we took a cooking class with the owners wife which was great. The food was tasty. Very good price as well. The owner also kindly arranged a taxi back to Negombo for us for an unbeatable price. Recommended.
