Booked 3 nights extended with 2. The rooms are big, clean and spacious. The bed is huge with a mosquito net, windows that open and such a spacious garden, washing machine that works and a small kitchen, what a place. Felt home from Holland. Really good! Excellent even. In the evening it's quiet, WiFi is good!

this was probably the best stay of our trip in sri lanka. the room was very clean, perfect size, a very good balcony with garden view, the toilet was clean and modern, near to the main streets of weligama (but very quiet and calm) and not a single mosquito in the room or balcony. I absolutely recommend this place, congrats guys :)

Very nice guesthouse with a very nice common area to relax ( sofas, chairs, tables and a nice little kitchen). The room was bright, big and very clean, I really enjoyed it. Wifi was working perfectly. And the owners are very sweet and adorable people. Highly recommended

1) Staff. The staff is the true heart of this villa. Anke, Malka and Surika were incredibly hospitable, friendly and caring. Special thanks to Malka and Surika for the delicious breakfasts, their smiles and all the care ❤️ And thank you to Anke for the lovely conversations! From the very first moments we felt at home, and we even extended our stay until the end of our vacation. When we arrived, our room was already cooled down, and we were welcomed with tasty tea and sweets. On our departure day, we were leaving at 4 AM, the ladies kindly packed breakfast for us. 2) The Villa itself. You can really see how much love and effort has been put into this place. The territory is not huge, but it’s like a little piece of heaven. The photos on Booking are outdated. Now there’s a pool, two sun-beds with umbrellas, and lots and lots of beautiful greenery all around. At the entrance there is an outdoor shower and a tap for feet washing — very convenient when you’re coming back from the beach (which is only a 3 minute walk). There are 4 turtles living next to the shower, and we also spotted monkeys and chipmunks. 3) The Room. Very well thought out. Before this villa we stayed in three other places, so we had plenty to compare it with. * There are universal sockets, so no adapter was needed. * A new fan and air conditioner, both very quiet. * A mini-fridge with a jug of colled water prepared for us ❤️ * Three towels per person + beach towels! * Daily cleaning, no need to ask. * A bathroom scale. * A safe. * Lots of clothes hangers — and good ones, all matching 😁 Usually we only got random old plastic ones. * A shaving mirror above the sink, and the main mirror was full-wall in the bathroom. * On the bed there was a blanket, not just a thin sheet like most places in Sri Lanka. Yes, the climate allows you to sleep under a sheet, but at night we used the fan and it got pleasantly cool. 4) Location. The villa is a bit outside the center of Weligama.

Our stay at Weligama Watergate Resort was a true delight. The standout feature was undoubtedly the breakfast, offering a delectable array of Sri Lankan dishes. The owner's personalized attention added a special touch to our experience. Nestled in serene surroundings, this resort offers a tranquil retreat in Weligama. Highly recommended for a memorable stay.

Amazing host :) with his lovely family, will be back one day!

The location is good enough, all markets, shops, cafe and restaurants are nearby. We gained convinient appartment with a beatiful lake view. The host was friendly, advised us several good places for dinner. The hygiene is excellent, the room was clean, fresh and cozzy. It was much more than we waited to have, even better than on photograph. We really enjoyed our Stay, I think it was one of the best place we have. Absolutelly reccomend.

We recently enjoyed a short family holiday in Sri Lanka, staying at Bricks90 Weligama. The location was absolutely beautiful, and the accommodation was exceptionally comfortable. The staff provided outstanding service, ensuring we had a wonderful stay. The property was spotlessly clean and maintained to a high standard. Definitely we will book this place for our next vacation.

The room was nice and clean, the AC worked well. I especially enjoyed gorgeous furniture, very pleasing to the eye. Wifi and washing machine worked well. The bathroom was clean, there was hot water and the water pressure was okay. The family was very friendly and nice, I felt very welcomed. Thank you for making my short stay pleasant :)
