These days in the hotel were like at home. We would like to thank Mr. & Mrs Dias and their wonderful daughter Goony for such a warm and friendly welcome. We are vegans, that's why it's tough sometimes to find a place to eat with appropriate options for us. However, in this hotel owners made their best. The food was prepared specially for us according to our needs including plant-based protein, carbohydrates and fresh fruits and vegetables. The food tasted fabulous! Moreover the staff was nice, the room was clean and quite. So we had everything for a great vacation. We really appreciate such high-quality customer service this hotel provided us. Highly recommend this place and we hope to get back someday!

The place is located in a quite area, with lots of small shops around. The owner is a kind man, he helped us get a bike for a good price. The room was clean and tidy. There’s also a washing machine and a place to dry all of your clothes. Incredible value for the price.

Chaminda and his family were wonderful hosts at the Rusara Guest House. The property is in an excellent location, right next to the beach and extremely close to restaurants, gym, etc. It is about 10-15 min walk to the Cargills supermarket. The rooms were very nice and clean and the A/C worked well. The property has a small kitchen and fridge that can be used, as well as outdoor table and couches for lounging. You could easily stay here for several months and have everything you need. Would recommend 10/10!

The breakfast each morning was great and had really healthy options. The location is perfect and is around 200m from a quiet beach. The property itself was always very clean and was nice to come back to after a long day. Anke the host was very welcoming and had lots of information on what to do in the local area and where to eat etc.

The room we stayed in was lovely, very spacious and clean. The family running it were very helpful, with complementary tea twice a day! Lovely porch area to sit in, great water pressure in the shower and the bed was large. Also provided a laundry service for a reasonable price. We would definitely return again.
