Nice welcome at arrival with a very friendly host who provided a lot of info about the town and sweets in the room. The room was big enough and comfortable with a kitchenette and tea/coffee set, A/C was useful too. Convenient parking in the courtyard. We had breakfast in the cozy cafe a hundred or so meters down the street: nice coffee and pastries, some salads.

Zelta Ābols features a sauna and free private parking, and is within 4.2 km of Ventspils University College and 4.2 km of Ventspils House of Crafts.

As I mentioned in the title, it is the most homely place to stay! This mainly comes because of the hoster. She was was really kind and welcomed warmly. And for breakfast - pancakes... You must try them with homemade jam! Paldies for the feeling like at home!

If Im in Ventspils I choose only Kupfernams. The staff has the best attitude. They welcomed me quite late, staying specifically to wait for my arrival and then explained / showed everything. The same great service continued in the morning at breakfast. Delicious and plenty of food. Highly recommend.

Very good location not far from the beach, very nice house and garden. Most important: Nowadays you hardly find a perfect host like Janis. Very friendly, helpful and committed! I will definetely come back!
