If you want to see beauty and ambiance of chefchoan upclose , this is the place, we also had the kitchen , to make tea , we were given slippers to wear inside the property which were moroccan made traditional, I think that was a thoughtful detail. The breakfast was so good , best coffee and traditional breakfast, we are very happy we picked this place for our stay at chefchoan.

My stay at the Iguana Azul was simply wonderful! If you are looking for a place to relax, quiet, with breathtaking views and extremely kind staff, Iguana is everything you could want to spend extremely happy days in Chefchaouen. Starting with the location, which when you arrive in the vicinity of the Medina you will walk about 5 minutes to reach the accommodation. It is located inside the medina, close to all points of interest, picturesque streets, restaurants, cafes. Speaking of coffee, you will have a transcendental experience when you have breakfast beautifully organized by the iguana staff. In addition to being delicious and filling, the view is stunning, to the mountains. I loved to spend at least two hours of my day there relaxing. There is also, on the floor above, a decorated Rooftop, where you will have a panoramic view of the blue city 🫂 The employees are there to help with everything necessary, such as visiting tips, buying tickets, recommending restaurants and whatever else is necessary. Amazing, very high in the mountains over chefchaouen. The owner is a very sweet person, the house is his masterpiece. He drew and built every inch of it. Tru landmark, you can see the magnificent house from everywhere in the valley.

The location of the riad is amazing! 2 minutes from the entrance to the Medina,near the central square, shops, cafes. The view from the room window is magnificent. The hotel and the room itself are decorated in Chefchaouen style, very beautiful and authentic. The owner is really helpful and friendly. Breakfast was also superb, served on a lovely terrace overlooking the city.
