It is a place like home. The building is colonial and that is visible in many details, you can feel like being in another century, but at the same time there are all necessary amenities provided, there is fast WiFi and the shower is constantly hot. The rooms are so beautiful and clean. The best one is the lake view room with a balcony with a view towards the Lac Anosy and the city centre. What’s more, the owners are very kind and helpful, they even helped me to find a restaurant nearby where I could pick up dinner

We loved our stay at Meva Guesthouse. Beautiful grounds, and the spacious rooms. Fabienne and her staff were very accommodating. They really helped coordinate our late arrival, sketchy departure times on Tsardia, and left-luggage arrangements. They prepped delicious meals, and attended our every request. Very comfortable rooms, and bedding, with great baths and plenty of hot water. We would stay again, no doubt.

Beautiful modern family accommodation close to the airport (approx. 15 min) with a swimming pool and a pretty view of the capital. The owners are very pleasant, kind and friendly hosts speaking English (as we dont speak French). Arranging transfer from the airport. The food was delicious. We enjoyed fresh bread/pastries (which is not standard everywhere in Madagascar). Dinner was excellent and I appreciate that they were able to prepare vegetarian food for me as well (my husband had great fish and zebu). I recommend visiting the lemurs park (45 min), croc farm if you spend some time in Tana.

I was very to have booked this guesthouse for my layover in Tana. Yves picked me up personally from the airport and brought me to his guesthouse, less then 10 minutes away. The car is big so all my kitesurf gear fitted without problem. He also brought me very early back to the airport the next day and made sure everything went smoothly. The house is inviting and modern and perfectly clean. I have had the pleasure of also having a dinner at this stay and it was excellent, compliments to Yves again. Everyone was very welcoming and friendly and helpful. I can only recommend this family owned business to everyone. Especially if you are the first time in Madagascar and/or traveling alone this is a good place to start your journey!
