Guest Houses in Ulaanbaatar

Excellent stay in the low season (April) or any season, the guesthouse is at the heart of the city, 3 minutes away from the State Department Store. 1 hour from the airport due to city heavy traffic and only way is going by official airport taxi 30 USD. You can also get a SIM card and withdraw cash at the ATM at the airport. The area is very convenient for museums, shopping, restaurants, banks, and money exchange at the State Department in USD, Euro, Yen, RMB, pounds, and Korean. Pick up for tours or UBCab, and everything is in walking distance to the square, live music venues (Fat Cat Jazz) , coffee (Nitro B), and drinks (Limehaus) The guesthouse is on the 3rd floor, no lift, so be prepared to lift your luggage up. I came with a medium-sized suitcase, 12kg so I could do some souvenir shopping. There are 2 bathrooms with showers, hot water, lounge, balcony, kitchen, washing machine, and water fountain. The shared room is very comfortable, with luggage cupboards with lock keys and wifi. Good natural light and window open to see the basketball court, park, and State Department Building. The area is very central and very safe and has a relaxing family community feel. There is a great Mongolian restaurant 1 minute away (ask Agge), where everyone goes, working nearby, school kids to families, and should be voted as best community mongolian canteen/restaurant. I went there many times, just google translate your menu, excellent value, quality, healthy and tasty. I highly recommend this guesthouse, Mongolia is a great Asian country with magnificent nature, history, and culture, and for sure, I will retuning to another season to this great land of great hospitality and warmth.

The hostel is very clean and neat. It is cozy with a large lounge and a very nice kitchen equipped with all the necessary utensils. The bathrooms are very clean and the showers work perfectly well.

The overall situation is very good, the environment is clean and tidy, the facilities are complete, the transportation is convenient, and the life is convenient. nice！

It was genuinely one of the best stays I had in my entire life! The hostel is very clean and the localisation is amazing, just a few minutes walk to the central square and the most important museums. I can also highly recommend the one day, private tour they organise, you can see the outside of Ulaanbaatar comfortably and in an amazing atmosphere! Last, but the most important thing, I want to thank Ireedui and Mina for making it not only a comfortable stay but also a very good experience. Talking to them about life in Mongolia and exchanging our hobbies felt totally like talking to a long-known friend. Thank you again!

Calm place. The main road is near and the sound proof is nice

The hostel is old but very clean and comfortable. The location is good, just a minute or two walk to the tourist attraction Ganda Temple. Convenience store is also close by. You have to walk a little over 20-30 minutes to get to the center of town, but there is a bus that comes about 10 minutes away, so that is not a problem. The owners are very nice and will help you with tours.
