Breakfast was amazing. Freshly baked croissants! The town is quiet and away from the crowds. It is a 1 hr trip from the airport. The owner and staff are super friendly and amazing people.

The staff was very lovely and accommodating, the location is great as it’s close to the store and the marina if you are going on a boat trip. And the parking is easy. The rooms are huge and there is a kitchen for cooking if you are interested.

Jays place is a perfect spot, cleanest place we’ve stayed in Mauritius (including hotels 3x the price), with attention to every detail. Very comfy bed, gorgeous private balcony, beautiful garden, little kitchen unit, bathroom. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful with fresh fruit from the garden, omelette, tea/coffee, bread etc! Details like great quality towels and hairdryer was very appreciated 😊 Jay is a wonderful honest host and the best we’ve met while traveling!! We enjoyed our stay so much.

One word - bliss! We loved our stay. We also had food at EvaZion. The owners and staff are so friendly. We spent Christmas here. Took a boat out to Ile de Cerfs. It is free to take a kayak out to the nearby waterfall. We did this two times and definitely recommend. We saw tropical birds and monkeys. If we ever get the chance, we will be back!

It's like a mini resort. Perfect ending to our Mauritius stay. It was especially important to me to have a comfortable bed before we returned and it sure was. The air-conditioning works very well and their breakfast was delicious. The pool was the biggest treat. Jean Paul took us on the best boat trip we've had with amazing food, he also knows great spots for Snorkeling

Chez Henri was a great find! We booked last minute and they kindly were able to get a room made up for us. The photos don't really do it justice; it's a lovely unique home with beautiful features. The room is on the top floor and is light, airy and spacious, with a sofa and a little kitchen area so you don't have to drive somewhere for dinner. It's a nice area and the beach was blessedly quiet. In the morning I was able to walk there in a couple of minutes and have a lovely sunrise swim. Henri and his wife are very welcoming with a nice energy, and made us a perfect breakfast to enjoy on the terrace of their beautiful front garden. Max (lovely big hairy cuddly dog) was a highlight for me too 🥰
