We had an incredible stay at this property in Dhigurah. The place is spotless, with a fresh and modern design that instantly makes you feel at home. The bed is huge and incredibly comfortable. The space is cozy, welcoming, and perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The hosts are some of the kindest, most caring people I've met, always going out of their way to make sure you have everything you need. The boat excursions were the best activities we had, we saw dolphins, whaleshark, turtles, manta rays, recif sharks and amazing coloured fishes. This island is amazing, and I’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend!

I loved the actual facilities at the guesthouse - everything was very modern and new - the leadership team at the guesthouse was dynamic and attentive to guest needs. I appreciated their willingness to acvospecial requests. The accommodation was very clean and had thoughtful details. Breakfast was good and I liked the availability of drinking water and the bikes which made life om the island much easier. The bed was very comfortable and the air con efficient and quiet. I also appreciated that the guide from the guesthouse helped me get the most out of the whaleshark snorkeling tour by taking my hand and making sure I didn't get lost and saw the whaleshark.

Brand new boutique hotel with fully equipped rooms, fast wifi, very comfortable bed. Received a quick check-in, a welcome drink and a very clean room. The room is always cool thanks to the air conditioner and ceiling fan. Spacious bathroom with cozy rain shower, partially open roof, view of the sky. The foot shower in front of the entrance is very useful. The tap water is not drinkable, but you get 1.5 liters of water every day and another half liter for breakfast. Breakfast is either Maldivian or continental (sandwich), with fresh fruit, fruit juice, coffee or tea. You can have lunch and dinner locally at a very good price. The food is simple but delicious and the chef prepares it fresh very quickly. I had the best whole grilled fish here on the island. The fish always comes from the local fresh catch, so you have to order in advance. It was pleasant to eat every day in the hotel's restaurant with a view of the small but beautiful garden with rich tropical vegetation. Several smaller, similar hotels are being built nearby, but this is not disturbing at all. The host also provided an umbrella, which fortunately was not needed. The hosts were very kind, they tried to solve all requests immediately. Communication via whatsapp was fast. Special thanks to Mwah, who arranged the speed boat transfer, he also organized the excursions and took me on private trips. I can thank him that I managed to see whale sharks, manta rays and turtles. He also loaned snorkelling equipment, showed us the best snorkelling spots around the island and provided us with lots of useful information. On the trips, he always made videos with a GoPro, which he was very happy to share with me and copy to my phone. I spent an unforgettable two weeks here thanks to him!

Room is very comfortable and clean, they clean it twice a day; Staff is just amazing, Mahmoon the manager explained us everything in the island, Pathum provided us great food and general tips about Sri Lanka (next destination) and Mujeer did the cleaning partwith excellence (even decorating the bed twice); Location is very good, next to cafes and local market Wifi worked perfectly well; All of this for a reasonable value for money in a paradise destination of Maldives, in summary I couldn’t recommend more!

We stayed at Muraka as part of our wedding anniversary holiday in August. The rooms are beautifully decorated and well equipped, and the breakfasts were delicious. Maumoon and Maahil were the most wonderful hosts! Nothing was too much trouble to organize or arrange for us. For our actual anniversary they set up a beautiful private dinner on the beach with fairy lights and all! When we got back to our room that night the bed was decorated with a happy anniversary message and there was a little gift for each of us. Our time in the common area always included an interesting or entertaining chat with either of them or learning how to play a traditional Maldivian game. When it was time to leave, we felt like we had gained two friends that we were sad to say goodbye to. The tours that they organized for us were absolutely amazing! The boat they used was professional and so much fun, and Maahil is the best guide in the world! He always made sure that we were in the right place at the right time to encounter the best experience of the whale sharks and the mantas. He also takes the best memory gopro videos you could hope for. There is absolutely nothing we can fault Muraka on. Maumoon and Maahil get an absolute 10 from us. It was a wonderful stay, and we would love to go back!
