Very friendly staff who were brilliantly helpful, just so welcoming! The room was beautiful, the owners worked in set design and so there were lots of really nice features to the room. The bath was a particularly highlight after a long summer travelling. The location was perfect to just walk around the town, lots of little cafes and restaurants tucked away nearby. In short absolutely fantastic!

The apartment was immaculately clean, the facilities were new and I had all the necessary equipment to feel comfortable. The location is super central and safe to walk at night (solo female traveler). Audrey (the host) was always available for any questions. I would definitely recommend this place 😊

I like that it is located in a quiet and safe neighbourhood with a nearby commercial centre. Rooms and space are big enough to fit one big family at the given price. Not to mention wifi and smart TV are welcoming bonuses. Host is also very helpful and responsive on Whatsapp.

The environment was comfortable, the staff was very friendly & helpful. River Melaka just beside the hostel & there was a lot of bar around there. Walk around 2 mins will be reaching the jonker street.

I had a wonderful stay at this legendary hostel! Super friendly staff and volunteers who made me feel at home as soon as I arrived. They are super approachable, and have great tips and advice on where to go in Melaka. It is a very relaxed hostel, with a lot of space to hang out and chat with other guests. I spent every night on the rooftop chatting with the volunteers and guests. It was my last hostel in Malaysia, and definitely the best. Location is great - in the centre of Chinatown and walking distance to a lot of great sites and attractions. The room was quiet at night, I didn't have any issues with noisy guests. Shower and toilet facilities are a bit outdated, but kept very clean.

Enjoyed the walking to Jonker Street to see both sides, commercial and local. Had a dinner at a small local restaurant, that was really great. Manager was helpful and super fast responding. Given essential information before checkin and out via WhatsApp, no hassle and stress at all. Interiors are beautiful, too.
