Very good location in Windhoek, stayed there for one night after arrival in Namibia. Superfriendly owner, nicely decorated room, quiet room, we felt very safe.

We only stayed for 1 night but wish we could have stayed longer. The staff were very friendly and experienced some of the best service. They assist with everything. The rooms were comfortable. Located just outside the city but the location was perfect. Few minutes from everything we needed. Great food and drinks as well.

Breakfast on the terrace was awesome and Beate was a great host. She even went to the the trouble of finding us a Namibian plug adapter as we only had S. African adapters with us and has a long drive to Etosha, so we didn't want to spend half the day tracking down an electronics store in Windhoek. Also, the property is well located, very secure and the staff were all very friendly. I would highly recommend for any length of stay in Windhoek (and we will be staying again in 3 weeks !!).

We spent our last night in Namibia at the lovingly designed Sandrose Guesthouse - a real feel-good place that impresses with its charm, style and attention to detail. As soon as we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Paolo, a passionate host: authentic, attentive and simply wonderfully helpful. We were greeted with a fresh coffee - a small gesture with a big impact. Our room was cozy, albeit a little chilly in the cool night - but thanks to the electric heating mats in the bed, we were able to sleep wonderfully. Breakfast the next morning was a real highlight: surprisingly varied, plentiful and with a very special extra - a large, beautifully laid table at which we sat together with the other guests. The exchange over good food in a warm atmosphere was a real gift for us - it is precisely this open mentality that we love when traveling. Paolo and his helping hand really thought of everything - we wanted for nothing. If we travel to Namibia again, one thing is clear: we will definitely stay at the Sandrose Guesthouse again!

Great location and place to stay. The room was lovely with nice African touches. The outdoor is nicely designed. We ordered dinner and we absolutely loved it! The staff was very friendly and helpful.

I was about to leave and check out earlier than the breakfast period, and the staff prepared a really good vegan breakfast for take away, on their suggestion. I appreciated all the kindness and carefulness I received during my stay. Also, the parking lot is closed and safe. Good value for money!

This place is absolutely amazing. The best guesthouse we stayed for the ending of our trip and just wanted to stay longer than 1 full day. The hosts and the staff are amazingly kind. The breakfast was on point. The pool is a nice touch and they offer you towels for that. The wifi worked very well. The African style of the place was marvelous.
