Shekhar is very generous with sharing his time to show guests around the hidden gems of Bhaktapur and knowledge of Nepali and Newari culture. Staying here wasn’t just a place to sleep, it was an experience of getting to really know the city and Nepali way of life. Staying here also reminded me of the important things in life - good company, community, music, spirituality, art, food, learning and exploring. It was one of the highlights of two months travelling Nepal which speaks volumes :)

Very welcoming & kind family, they shared their culture with us and we felt really like a part of the household. Rooms are clean & simple with everything you need (hot shower, fan, some storage room...) rooftop with view over the town & temples. Location was excellent. Clean and neat room with a hot shower. Staff very friendly and helpful with everything. And the breakfast was tasty with a lot of variety and more than enough . Great value for money ! Why pay more ?

It was a great stay here. Staff is so helpful and nice. They called a motor bicycle for me and a taxi. They told me about the indrive app, so I could install me at my phone, So, later during my trip it was also very good to have this app, cause I used it often. The location is very close to Durbar Square, only a few minutes walk. Breakfast was delicious and served in a very lovely garden. The guesthouse is a very beautiful building. When I visit Bhaktapur again I will stay at this place again.

Great location, wonderful breakfast, very kind people. Early mornings and evenings, thanks to the location of the guesthouse, you can enjoy Bhaktapur's magic seeing locals praying, going to school and just doing daily jobs. My husband and I found that very special. Walking to the Detraya square 10 minutes away is another recommendation, to enjoy the daily life of Bhaktapur and its inhabitants.
