We liked everything about the studio 😊 It was obvious that the hosts put a lot of thought in building, furnishing, equipping and decorating of the place and thought of all the small details, including a helpful welcome book. The whole place is new and super clean. It’s also really nice to have a garden and terrace. The location is great, you can start for a walk from the garden and explore the river and beach or drive to one of the nearby wineries or go for a hike at Te Mata Peak. The hosts are nice and helpful. Internet is good, TV has Netflix etc, and there is even a washing machine. This has definitely been the nicest stay in NZ within that price range and we would happily come back anytime!

I LOVE how clean it was, no cobwebs, no leftover droplets or streaks in the shower, and no dusty window sills. 11/10 for cleanliness! Bed was super comfy, unit was bright an homely, host left little treats, super easy check in. Theres also a dehumidifier, but would be good if some instructions were stuck to it because I had no idea how to use it 😅.
