I picked the places I stayed at on my Oman road trip very carefully. All, were as expected and amazing in their own way, but the Fort Guesthouse was outstanding. The authenticity and location in a residential area off the Cornish was perfect. It was so nice to spend my first 2 nights in Oman in a place so comfortable and easy to walk around and begin the journey with peace and safety. Places to eat nearby and the fish market and the views of the sea. I was so totally happy there. PS I loved opening and looking out the windows and the WI-FI was so good.

Great accommodation, very welcoming and clean. Kind hosts and has everything you need. As females, we felt safe and as if we were home. Strong WiFi, and everything you need from iron, hair dryer to tea and coffee, couldn’t ask for a better stay.

The hostel seems like a hotel. The room was really big with everything I needed. It's a very quiet neighborhood. The hostel is close to the beach and to the Qurum park, so for me that I am an amputee was easy to reach different destinations without having a car. It's very convenient.

    We loved Fort Guesthouse! The contactless check in was easy, the place was spotless, rooms lovely. Great location right near the fort and plenty of free parking just a minute walk away. Medium-sized fridge, some coffee / tea / water, towels & hand towel, hair dryer etc. Nice rain shower too, and well-placed power outlets beside the beds, too. The hosts were so lovely, and we enjoyed a filling and delicious breakfast with a view on the sunny terrace above. Breakfast was 6 rials for two of us. I would definitely stay here again.
