Mada is one of the best guesthouses we stayed at in Peru. It has the standard of a good hotel, but the prices are very low. Starting with the room – very clean, elegant, with a large and comfortable bed. The bathroom was also perfect, with an excellent hot shower that was just wonderful! A big TV with YouTube and streaming platforms, and a very convenient location right in the city center. Great breakfast! Great service (greetings to Angel)! They also offer several tours you can book directly with them. Honestly, you won’t find a better place in Puno for this price!

Jose went above and beyond to help us out whilst we stayed here! Was super communicative, and helped us order taxis to the bus station early in the morning, looked after our bags whilst we went on an overnight tour on the lake and so much more! Showers were hot, and beds super comfy! We had the breakfast before our early morning tour which was also great. Would highly recommend staying here :)

the owner was the most helpful person we met - she helped us organise our trips to the islands as well as our early ride to the airport. she was so kind and thoughtful! the room was fantastic, spacious with 4 large beds, hot water for a nice shower and everything you might need. as the nights were quite cold the owner also proposed to lend us a heater which was very welcome! the property is a short walk from the bus station and the center - perfect location we could even have our room when we arrived at 6 in the morning after a long bus ride from Cuzco- Amazing!

The room is cozy and not too cold (for Peruvian standards in winter). The host was incredibly kind, he helped us by keeping our backpacks all day long and with recommendations. Breakfast was also rich and tasty.

the place was really clean. you get a properly hot shower with nice towels. breakfast is nice with lots of fresh fruits. the staff was incredibly helpful and nice. we had to extend one day because of visa issues and that was no problem at all… they even let us use their computer and printer! cannot recommend enough.

Everything was great. Good location, clean room, hot shower and amazing lake view. Host was very helpful and even gave me personal thermos with hot water so I can drink tea in my room. I really enjoyed my short stay there.

Olek is the manager, he went over and above to help. I don't speak Spanish, do he arranged my stay on the islands. He arranged the transport and boat. He and a family member drove to meet us coming back from the islands. If you don't speak Spanish, then I would really recommend staying here. Most of the rooms give you a view that allows you to see the sunrise over the lake. Amazing view, right on the lake, bus port next door, 5 minute walk to harbour, shopping and food.

we had just a short stay of one night at Puno but it was so nice staying in this Hotel! The staff was super helpful with everything. Gonzalo even booked for us a Tour witch Pick-up from the Hotel. The rooms were cozy and clean. We could leave our Backpack after check out there during the day and could also wait in the Brakfastroom for our Nightbus til 10pm. would definitely stay here again
