What a gem we found! It was just perfect! Felt welcome the second I arrived. Kevin and Marlene were super attentious, caring and a great source of knowledge, not only about Dauin, but also about all the other places that I planned to visit, like Moalboal and Malapascua. On top of that, they are both divemasters, have contacts in loads of dive centers, and can easily help to organise fun dives or certifications. The accommodation was clean, spacious, well looked after and the food was delicious! It was perfect! Thank you so much to the both of you! 5 stars!😊

This homestay was perfect! Very clean and well decorated rooms. There is a good garden to chill. You are close to restaurants and shops. They have water refill for free. They offer scooter rental at a good price. They have good options for breakfast. The two ladies who manage the property are super nice and helpful!

Everything, the best guesthouse, staffs are very friendly! Went overboard by getting my dried fish even. You’ll really feel the authentic Filipino vibe with their friendliness and being hospitable.All in all it was a superb experience and will def recommend to my friends.

Very comfortable, new, and clean apartment with everything you need for a week or longer if you don't need a tv or a kitchen. There is a fridge and a kettle to make coffee or instant meals, which was completely sufficient for us. There was also an emergency light in the room in case of a power outage, which was good because it happens sometimes in the Philippines. Two towels were provided per person, which was great. The owners are really nice and always eager to help with everything. They even picked us up from Larena pier when we arrived and took us back there when we left for a very low rate, using the motorbike we rented from them. This was very kind and convenient for us. The rental price was slightly higher than in other places, but it is a very good and new bike so it was worth it. Renting a motorbike is definitely recommended, as the accommodation is a bit further from the main area. However, the location is still good, as it is situated between Siquijor town (5 min) and the tourist area of San Juan (10-15 min). Another big plus is that the owners are very animal-friendly and even help stray dogs in need. One of their dogs barked at us quite a bit in the beginning, but he is actually very sweet. After a few days, he got used to us, stopped barking, and even let us pet him. We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Marilag. Thank you for everything! :)

The kitchen ! There is actually a lot of ustensiles and it was perfect for us. They have beers and drinks in the fridge that you can buy for a very good price, you also can buy eggs and other staff if you like. Internet was good, and the room we had was perfect. They also clean and check the house every day. We definitely recommend it !

Sir Mak and his team made my stay in Siquijor very memorable. The staff works together very well together and spreads a lot of positivity. All of them where overly friendly and they go beyond borders to make their guests stay comfortable. It's close to Paliton beach and the staff has been amazing and made me feel like a family member :)
