Clean and comfortable guest house, quite new and very functional. Excellent hosts, very friendly family happy to give advice on the area. We ate dinner in the kitchen and was excellent on both occasions. Breakfast also very good. Location about 20-30 minutes from lots of vineyards and other things to do. Shared areas are comfortable too.

Location was stunning in a beautiful part of portugal. Room was large and very comfortable with good facilities. We can’t wait to go back and experience more of that region.

Such a wonderful location. The view is amazing. Also, Margarida is a very lovely host, she made us feel really welcome. We also really liked the tour from Luis through their vineyard. Will definitely stay here again if we return to the Douro Valley.

This hotel is very special, food is wonderful, staff is extremely helpful and attention to details made our trip very enjoyable. This stone house is in a dream-like setting in the middle of a vineyard. A perfect weekend getaway to do some wine tasting. They make their own fabulous wines and also provided a welcome drink of their licor generoso (it was delicious!) A great base to explore nearby vineyards. Lovely host and was very communicative and helpful. If you're in the Douro, you must stay here if you want a truly authentic experience!

Very charming, family-run hotel in the hills of the Douro Valley with not only an extraordinary view on the bending river. But most strikingly - the house has personality which obviously reflects the owner’s passion for place, history and intimacy. Vintage items, personal photos here and there makes you feel like staying at a friends’ place who also has lovely recommendations at hand when you look for places to explore. And if you want to just relax and enjoy the view - the hotel’s pool and the surrounding terraces are just perfect to calm down. Moreover: one of us was sick during our stay - and the hosts were super helpful, understanding and supporting, this was extraordinary. Thank you so much!
