Gorgeous property with beautiful garden and great pool - didn’t swim there though as was a bit chilly. Incredible library and books inside guest rooms. Amazing host, friendly stuff, homemade cake every morning and the best part - a fluffy dog Chiki ( not sure about the spelling of the name) 🐕‍🦺. Loved everything about Chalet Ficalho.

this is the only place i come to whenever i need to clear my head. even though i live in lisbon, the vibe here gives me peace, and i usually prefer to spend my work time here. it's got a huge garden. walking around here is really relaxing. there's a massive pool. i haven't gotten to use it yet since i haven't been here in summer or gotten the pool heating turned on, but, uh, the vibe it gives off is really great. the house has a really spacious courtyard and super high ceilings. you really feel at peace in a seriously luxurious house. the rooms are super spacious and have everything you need. i had the chance to try the breakfast again since my first stay, and i thought it was pretty good. the rooms are also really nice.

The room was wonderful, with blackout curtains and a comfortable bed. The breakfast was very good—you can order eggs, pancakes, and bacon in advance. The staff were very nice and helpful. Great location, close to both the beach and the train station.

The location was great—everything was within walking distance. The breakfast was very good, and the rooms were spacious and nice. We enjoyed the garden and pool, which made for a pleasant evening after a long trip. There was also a bar with a lounge area that looked nice, but we didn't use it. I accidentally booked for the wrong year, but the staff noticed and sent me a message to clarify. Since I booked close to the check-in date, this really helped me out. The staff were amazing; this is the best service I've ever experienced in a hotel. I would definitely recommend this place!
