Great location and view, quiet, perfect hospitality, host was always so nice, helpful and responsive, delicious breakfast served to the room. Good for road cycling tours to the hills or along the coast. We will come back for sure.

Very friendly staff at check-in (a Spanish-speaking lady), very polite male receptionist with great customer service while collecting keys (a Portuguese gentleman) and during the stay and check out (another Portuguese gentleman). Very clean, spacious room with extra bed, clean bathroom, TV with loads of local and international programmes, very big windows overlooking the main street and another hotel in front of our room, writing desk, reception open until late, bags storage facilities

It’s a perfect alternative to a hostel. Same price but with your private space and bathroom. My room was big and with all the essentials. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning was working perfectly. When I arrived the room and the bathroom were clean as well as the towels and the bed sheets (there is no daily cleaning but for me is not a problem). Soap, shower gel and shampoo were also provided, that is a huge plus. The two windows gave on the main street and on one side it was possible to see the water from the Ribeirinha area in the morning. Perfectly central location and very friendly and kind staff. They are always there for whatever you need. The kitchen is very big and well furnished: 2 kitchen stoves, 2 sinks, 3 fridges, many tables to sit. I spent a week here and I could have stayed even longer.

Excellent location. Fabiana went above and beyond to make our stay incredibly comfortable. Helped us with all the tours we booked. Historic walk wine tasting which was incredible and the kayak cave experience which was great. We honestly couldn't rate this enough. We can't wait to return to this beautiful little gem in the middle of the old town. A++++++++++
