The apartment exceeded our expectations. It was big, very clean and and modern. Staff was super lovely and we immediately felt at home. We had an apartment facing the back of the house so it was really quiet during the night time. Everything seemed very new and of good quality and the building is right on the edge of the old town. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again!

The apartment was spacios, clean and comfortable. It was also very near to Coimbra old centre. 5 minutes walking over the bridge. A few good restaurants were also very near. Parking is free in the garage of the Convento Sao Francisco. ( 3 minutes walking). There is also a Aldi supermarkt in walking distance (8 min.). Communication with the owner André is fast and perfect.

The room in the main house on the 1st floor (I believe it’s depicted on the promo picture here on Booking) was perfect. The room was clean and matched the description. I stayed in Casa de Sao Bento for 2 different periods in two different rooms and I liked the room in the adjacent building much less.

The location was excellent! A lovely walk across the bridge to the Old Town. Staff was very helpful and responsive. The room was lovely and great value! While the hotel is located on a busier road, the windows really blocked out sound. If you have any concerns about potential noise, just request a room in the back. That's what we did, and it was perfect!
