We liked the location once we had finally found Travassos11. The GPS and directions given were of no help. This is a superbly restored former palace with exquisite decor. We had a delicious evening meal prepared for us by Candida and served by Rawan. My dairy free diet was carefully considered. We were the sole diners in the beautiful dining room. It was very special. Both ladies were so friendly and spoilt us. Breakfast and comfortable room made this a great stay.

From the exceptional cleanliness, to the free parking opposite, to its excellent location, to the value for money,my stay here exceeded expectations. Maria made me feel extremely welcome upon arrival and the little touches like the WiFi password to the communal tea and coffee facility complete with fridge and microwave made my stay complete.

Wonderful farm stay away from city noise. Crisp clean air and fantastic atmosphere. Joaquim was a super host and made me feel completely at home. A great place to stay for a few days and use as a central hub to local attractions.

    I did like the customer service provided by the owner of the guest house . They gave us complete details and information about where to leave the car , to eat and drink. They are very caring and trustworthy people. I highly recommend you stay there for one night if you like calmness , peace and be in the city centre .
