Everything was top notch! We absolutely fell in love with the interior, breakfast place, breakfast food, amazing room, iconic bathroom, everything smells so good, friendliest staff and loveliest terrace. Welcome wine in the special room with cheese plate and fado music at arrival was everything we ever needed. Didn't want to leave the hotel neither in the days we stayed nor after we checked out. Best accommodation we ever stayed in and will return to Lisbon just to stay at Palacio das Especiarias one more time. FIVE STARS! THANK YOU!

Location was great, central to all public transport and within walking distance to tour meeting places. Coffee and tea available in the breakfast room all day. You could bring food in and sit down during the day, eat it and enjoy a cup of coffee. Loved the decor throughout this quirky boutique hotel.

My sister and I had a lovely twin room with balcony, overlooking R. Augusta. The balcony doors, closed, cut out all street noise. Everything was spotless. The staff were all welcoming and helpful. Accessibility is excellent.

You feel being looked after. The breakfast is exceptional. Not only you have the salty/sugary option but every day they cook différent dises for the salty option. Quiches, végétale toasts from their Farmer products, not a simple omelette but à roulé like a cake mixing eggs and cheese. You feel there is the work of à whole team behind the kitchen counter
