First of all, I would like to note that the hotel itself looks great, located in a great location - not far from the embankment, along which you can park your car for free. The owner of the hotel, an amazingly kind and tactful woman, greeted us very warmly and was always ready to answer our questions. The atmosphere inside the hotel is very pleasant, as are all the staff. We have never regretted that we chose this particular hotel in this town - it is very convenient to get to the city of Porto in just 30 minutes by bus No. 500, the route of which runs along the embankment. Our most sincere recommendations and gratitude for the warm welcome and wonderful experience. We hope to come back again! We will recommend the hotel and the city to our friends! Lovely, clean, well located & easy to check-in. Very close to the Camino portuguese route. Having items such as a kettle & coffee machine in the room made a HUGE difference for what I needed for an early morning departure back to the Camino route.

Eugénio is a wonderful host. Prepared, kind and resourceful. He addressed us to the most beautiful places ever and shared his delicious family Christmas sweets with us. The rooms are super clean, the breakfast has great variety of sweet and salty options. There is a lot of light coming from the garden and no noises! Matosinhos is great for services and closeness with all the strategic logistics to get around easily and smoothly. There are many restaurants that serve delicious food at good prices and a supermarket very near. You can have a walk to the ocean and catch a bus to the center of Oporto...everything is right behind the corner. We parked our rental car right around the block and could take the highway in 7 minutes. It was a great stay!

The woman/staff was super friendly and always in for a good laugh! She gave so many suggestions to eat or go for places. We loved the spacious, clean apartment and the beds are amazing. The airco was nice and the shower was great! Also a very very very good breakfast next to the apartment.
