Beautiful, spacious, well designed and stylish apartment in a century old villa in a lovely village. Perfect place to visit the western part of the island, and we also used it as our base to actually visit the whole island. Monique was really responsive and helpful in arranging any needs arose, from laundry to renting the car of the villa. The guide book Monique prepared for the visitors is an excellent piece of art, giving hints and suggestions for how to use the apartment, what to do in the nearby area, and the must-to-visit places on the whole island! Our stay was truly wonderful. The cabin is beautifully decorated and very comfortable, the attention to detail in every corner is evident. The hot tub is a great way to unwind the day, breakfast was delicious. Would love to return one day, highly recommend.

Everything was absolutely good. We were really appreciate for breakfast, especially the breakfast box on the last early morning. The staff is very flexible and very kind. The environment is really modern and clean. All together we spent amazing time on Sao Miguel and Vila Rosario was perfect for us.

I had the best time at Solar de Santo Andre. Eduarda is a great hostess and the whole team at Solar de Santo Andre is very accommodating, hospitable, helpful and friendly. The house has been painstakingly renovated and the old rooms from earlier times have been made incredibly beautiful. The rooms, which are open to the public, are reminiscent of how Ponta Delgada used to be and how people used to live there. The guest rooms are very modern and equipped with all the necessary details to make you want to spend time there. I had booked the studio and was absolutely satisfied. The rooms are nicely furnished, are cleaned daily and you have everything you need for your vacation. Breakfast is served in the kitchen with a large table where all guests can sit down. The breakfast offers everything your heart desires: different types of bread, a selection of cold meats and cheese, fruit, yoghurt, coffee or tea is served as well as a homemade juice that varies daily. All guests meet at breakfast and the room invites you to chat. The garden with pool is perfect for relaxing after an eventful day. I had a wonderful time at the Solar de Santo Andre and can only recommend anyone to stay there!
