Rodrigo is really kind. The location on the cliff in the east side of the island is really good. Breakfast is amazing, and it is really nice, when it is nice weather and you can eat outside. We have tried local jams, local tea, ... We loved to see a typical Portuguese house. It is really well equipped and you will miss nothing.

The guesthouse is well prepared with all the basics for a comfy stay. The room was spacious and clean. Very friendly and helpful staff. It is a fairy-tale house — beautiful and comfortable, with a dreamy garden. We stayed there with kids, who had their own bedroom, plenty of space to play, some toys, and a swing in the garden. Having access to a washing machine and dryer was super helpful when traveling with children. The barbecue area was perfect, and we highly recommend the meat shop in Furnas! One of our favourite things was that the Glória Patri spring is just 2 minutes away — we walked there all the time to refill our water bottles. Everyone we met was incredibly polite, helpful, and friendly. This house will always stay in my heart!
