Everything about Residencia Julio was what we wanted for our stay, which was making up the last 3 days of a week long trip across the Algarve. The room was comfortable, and clean, plenty of space for 2 people to store their things and the beds were so comfortable we slept like babies! The shower was lovely and powerful, perfect for after the long days at the beach and in the sea. The location was also perfect, being within 10 minutes walking distance of local amenities, but enough out of it to be so peaceful and quiet, and also plenty of parking - some with shade so our rental car was never hot to get into! The staff were warm and friendly, the cleaning staff were lovely and specifically Dora was so helpful when we checked in, providing a map and information on the area. The gardens around the property were beautiful and serene, a really nice place to sit after a long day. We caught the Solandra Maxima flower blooming too, which we were so pleased about! There was also a handy kitchen area and washing line to hang larger items to dry. We really enjoyed our stay and would stay again without hesitation.

Read what you are getting and you will have no complaint unless you think you are going to a 5 star hotel, it’s a guesthouse and a fabulous one at that. We have stayed in many guest houses in Sagres and this is our favourite. We really enjoyed our stay here, zero faults for the price we paid.

The guest house is lovely, set up so well and has everything you need to make your stay comfortable. Spotlessly clean, fully equipped kitchen. Bed was very comfortable and the balcony area is amazing. Really enjoyed our stay, if we hadn’t booked ongoing accommodation in advance, would have defiantly booked more nights. Beaches, marina and sites, close by to explore. Good location, supermarkets and restaurants within walking distance.

The best place we’ve stayed in a long time!! Everything is made with wonderful taste and to accommodate all needs! Pool is great, parking available, room big and clean, air conditioning work perfectly and silent, bathroom big and clean, super location with easy access to anything you need…in one word…perfect! 10 out of 10! PS: and the lady running the place…super host, answered all questions and requested and helped with all our needs.

Extremely friendly, helpful and welcoming hosts. Nice rooms and a great pool. Everything you need to make breakfast is already in room, plus some fresh bread is delivered at 8.30 in the morning.

Andre was an excellent host. He welcomed us in person and explained everything. The pool and view are amazing and it is very sheltered so feels very private. Close to Luz beach and restaurants. A lovely stay.
