Smartno village and the Aldila Art Rooms is an absolutely stunning location. The actual hotel only has a few rooms but they are very well done and stylish. The location is really special and it's very small which makes it feel even more personalised. So gorgeous.

A good location for a relaxing holiday in Kojsko, Pri Marjotu is a guest house surrounded by views of the mountain. The property features a garden, bar and parking on-site among other facilities.

It's a place of wonder. There is a beautiful landscape all around you with grape everywhere. The guesthouse is like an old curia. The hosts make you feel like you were real princes or princesses. Make sure to taste their own wine. It's one of the best we've ever tasted. Hopefully we could come back sometime.

This private house near Nova Gorica is surrounded by greenery and includes a large garden with a seasonal swimming pool. The owners have their own winery and serve homemade products for breakfast.

The facilities are located in one of the most beautiful places I've ever been. A peaceful monastery is clung on top of a high hill in Slovenia, right across the border with Italy. From there you can admire on one side the cities and hundreds of km of coast, ending with the sea. On the other side the alps sit austere and majestic . Center Mir is perfectly clean, mint, staff was always communicating with clarity and speed. This has become my favourite place if I'll ever have to stop over night on that route.

Beautiful view from a very nice location. Not even the bad weather could ruin the atmosphere. We picked it up at the very last minute so we didn’t have any expectations but hoping it would deliver the basics, in terms of cleanliness and decent room. We found out the restaurant had good reviews, had dinner and again it exceeded the expectations. I had the 3 course meal including a home made tagliatelle with chanterelles (very good), fish fillet with veggies (good), and an orange infused tiramisu - first time I try a tiramisu out of the classic one or the one with berries and it was excellent. On top of it I loved the amouse bouche and the home made raffaellos. I would recommend this place with no doubts.

Apartment was located in 3 apartment building for guests - during our stay we were the only ones, therefore nobody bother us or did we. The pool was great refreshment! Otherwise - quite remote area. The apartment had a conditioner in the main room. Bathroom is located next to sleeping room (so, no privacy for adults, if kids are walking through the room for bathroom :) ). The bathroom was quite warm place due to the water-boiler which heated up the room a lot, meanwhile the water stream was uneven from hot to cold, but it wasn`t too critical - maybe some upgrade for boiler would be needed. Kitchen rather small and basic - if hosts would place there some salt & sugar, it would be great :)

We hadn’t planned on staying here: it was a last minute booking so we could escape a campsite 45 minutes away, in the heaviest rain with worries about potential flooding. Everything is great about the hotel: extremely friendly, helpful and well-organised owner. Spotlessly clean through the hotel, comfortable rooms, nice cotton bedsheets, complimentary toiletries etc, TV with great channels for English-speakers! We ate dinner here and loved the dumplings, trout, grilled veg and amazing pancakes and walnut ice cream. Breakfast was also fabulous with perfectly cooked omelettes and scrambled eggs! It’s a friendly, family-run place and was a wonderful safe haven for us away from camping in the rain! The owner even took the time to tell us which roads were safe to drive on, after the floods, for our onward journey.

We had a great stay at Hiša Vuga! The place is super clean, cozy, and very comfortable. Barbara was a wonderful host, friendly, helpful, and full of great tips for exploring the area. Thanks to her, we got to visit some beautiful and historic spots we wouldn’t have found on our own. Highly recommended!
