There is no reception and you are sent a door code prior to arrival. The system worked flawlessly. As well as keeping cost down, not having a key to look after has other benefits, particularly if you want to swim in the sea. The room was comfortable and well equipped - I like having a fridge, and the location was great.

    Perfectly situated in the middle of the historic centre of Izola, quiet and picturesque. This charming little guesthouse offers comfortable and clean rooms, peace and quiet, and a fantastic breakfast which can be enjoyed indoors or outside in the narrow, cosy street. The hostess is the most friendly, warm and accommodating person you can imagine, who does whatever she can to make her guests feel welcome and at home. I cannot imagine a better place to stay in Izola, and I will not hesitate to book there again.
