Guest Houses in Goreme

Clean, beautiful, charmy, not noisy… all excelent. And the host is very very nice. Always available to help with anything. Strongly recommend.

We arrived from Kayseri airport on a shuttle bus, which took passengers to various hotels in Goreme (we arranged the bus through Elysee Cave House). At the reception desk we were greeted by the friendly and smiling lady owner, who immediately showed us around the hotel and outlined on a map where the best places to eat were in the area. The rooms were clean and very basic. The standard was adequate for the price, but the room lacked absolutely nothing. In addition, we had 24-hour access to boiling water and tea in the kitchen located on the roof of the building. From the terrace on the roof of the hotel we had an excellent vantage point for the morning flight of balloons - we didn't have to go far and admire the balloons among the crowd of people, so we appreciated the dream come true all the more :) In case of a chilly morning, part of the terrace is built in and glazed, and there is a fireplace inside. And an absolutely beautiful view! An important part of our trip were the evenings spent on the terrace - in the evenings the owner came, lit the fireplace and turned on the music. Absolutely worth remembering moments, as well as the great kindness and smile of the owners :) On the last day we had a bus just before midnight, and here a lot of gratitude, because after checking out we could leave our luggage at the reception, and after a day of sightseeing in the area, the lady owner allowed us to wash before the trip in the extra bathroom (we were given extra towels and toiletries!). We were also allowed to use the terrace and tea until our departure. Of the several different hotels we visited in Turkey during our trip, Elysee Cave House was definitely the special one. Not only because of the location, although the hotel has incredible charm, but mostly because of the family atmosphere and the unparalleled kindness of the owners. Highly recommended!

The hotel's location is in the very centre of Goreme. All shops, a bus station and all attractions are five minutes away. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. We really liked it and recommend it !

-Building: it is located in a historical building: the room is large and with high roof, and everything inside the room is/looks nostalgic -Breakfast: It consists of an open buffet with many options to choose from, but more importantly, during every breakfast they serve also a traditional kind of pancake/calzone: gozleme -Friendly employees. Felt like a family run small hotel

Adanos it’s just a perfect paradise hotel. Comfy rooms, beautiful building, amazing breakfast. But it’s truly beauty comes from the lovely Naz who run the hotel with the biggest heart.

We deliberated a lot on our stay in Cappadocia, there were so many options and it's hard to decide which one would be authentic and good for us. We are glad we chose well. Our stay there was very short, and we came with no big plans except to get a glimpse of this amazing landscape. The hotel is located in Uchisar right next to the Uchisar Castle, has a great view of the valley below (and the balloon rides in the morning). The staff Mustafa and Bahar was super helpful with arranging all logistics for us very quickly including a shuttle to and from Kayseri airport which was over an hour away, a curated day trip with a guide and massages. Mustafa has been very gracious with his suggestions on what to do on the trip, restaurents to visit and went out of his way to make our visit memorable. It was my birthday on the one day and he arranged for a suprise celebration woven into our day trip, which was lovely. The Kale Konal breakfast is a wonderful spread and unmissable. The resident dog Badam will keep you company over coffee :)! The rooms are cozy and well appointed. Be prepared for a lot of up and down walking to the rooms, and come with lighter luggage. And dont miss a walk up the Uchisar Castle, the views are totally worth the short walk up.

Even though we have traveled extensively both inside and outside our country, this host couple and the mother of the host were the best hosts we have ever encountered. Incredibly kind, polite, and attentive to their guests. We only mentioned that we wanted to see a particular house, and without any charge, they drove us there in their personal car. The Turkish breakfast was amazing, the rooms were clean and incredibly tasteful. Without even asking, they gave us a room with double beds, exactly what we wanted. We will definitely return here, and you should not hesitate for a moment to stay at this hotel. An absolutely wonderful and unforgettable experience.

The property is in a quiet neighbourhood just outside the center (10-15min walking). There is a supermarkt down the street (it does not sell alcohol, fyi). The rooms are really spacious and beds are very comfortable. Shower heads look small but they have great water pressure. Breakfast is served upstairs against a beautiful view of the hills. We were told it is also possible to watch the baloons but we were never awake that early. There is a communal garden with seats and tables where all guests can hang out in. Our hosts were super attentive and helpful.
