Amazing place, super clean, staff very friendly, really the best location to stay the night of arrival/department. Food Is amazing, i had the opportunity to have dinner there. I used to sleep in another hotel but now that i discovered shivo guest house this Will be my sure choice for my next trips in Zanzibar

For the price this place was really great. It was a little hard to find but they reach out and give you contact details ahead of time. Its in a really central location but still quiet. Place was very clean and room was large. Had a shared bathroom which was cleaned often. Was only slightly more than a hostel but definitely a step up

It is a good place to stay and at good location. The place is clean and air conditioning is so important. The staff is friendly and everything is new. I will come back to stay here again next time.

Very nice owners of the hotel, everything was very pleasant. For those who are not fixated on the Euro level, this is a great place to relax, atmospheric and shows the culture and surroundings of Zanzibar very well! I am very glad that I chose this hotel! I recommend it!

The property was very well located and clean. The host was extremely friendly and helpful. Good aircon and fans, and I was able to wash clothes here. In the morning, I found my clothes already hung up by the cleaner which was fantastic. Overall very good value for money.

Lovely apartment in an excellent location in Stone Town. Everything in stone is less than 5min walk to the apartment. Rooms are spotless & well cleaned. Staff are very helpful & plenty of restaurants nearby to experience delicious swahili cooking. Very good value for money and i highly recommend Zanzibar Spice Nest Apartment.

This place was a hideen gem. The hostel is one of the oldest guest house in the city, full of old photographies an objects, carpets on the floor and spaces were to sit and relax. Amazing rooftop with view on the port and the sea life. Nice sunset. The stuff extra friendly, the girls who served breakfast as well, take care of the details. They can order food for dinner or lunch in case you need it. Walkable distance from the centre.
