This is a lovely place to stay! The host family was very welcoming, the place was spotlessly clean, and the breakfast was one of the most delicious I’ve ever had - served in a lovely courtyard. I had a basement room which didn’t let in much natural light, but it was spacious and cool in the summer heat. The owner provided transportation to and from the station for a very reasonable price.

We stayed at the guest house only for a night, and that is my only disappointment from our stay. I wish we could book it for longer. Mr. Shariff is the kindest host you'll ever meet. We informed them about our early arrival and they were supportive enough to allow it and they were present at the guest house to welcome us. It is a lovely family run guest house. The room itself is beautiful, with big common area and spotless cleanliness everywhere. But you don't go to Shafran for any of those requirements, it is the loving family that greets you there. Mr. Shariff also invited us to his home and showed us around. We got an opportunity to meet his family. They made the stay in Bukhara unforgettable for us. We'd sure be back and stay with them again.

Super location, in the heart of the old town. All sights of interest can be reached on foot. Good breakfast is served on the roof terrace with a view of the old town and nice sunset. The host is friendly , organized our transfer to the railway station during the night .

The host was very friendly and attentive. He offered us to pick us up from the station and brought us back for a very reasonable price. At the arrival to the guesthouse he treated us with green tea and sweets. We were impressed by his friendliness and kindness. The next day he drove us around in Bukhara to the market and different sightseeing points we wanted to see. The price for this service was very reasonable too. Thanks for your loving hospitality!

    There should be option to rate properties and hosts 11, cause this place deserves it! First of all, huge respect to Karim. He made us feel so welcomed and he was very helpful in suggesting good non tourist trap restaurants. The whole place is very nice and quiet. We felt safe walking around the neighborhood during the night. The room was spacious and had everything we needed for our stay. Very close to the city center. Breakfast was good and internet connection too.

    The guest house is located in the city center perfect for visiting all the attractions. the room was perfect for us very clean and with everything that was needed. Every morning we found a hearty breakfast of fresh fruits, bread, jam, eggs and more!! The host and her daughter Sabrina were incredibly kind to us and made our stay even more comfortable. if you want to stay overnight in Bukhara you absolutely have to stop here!
