Guest Houses in Dong Hoi

The host is the loveliest lady, she is so helpful and sweet. She does not speak English but her service and kindness do not require English words. She let us stay the full day waiting on our night bus and even let us take a shower after our tour. Loved it!

Lovely family run Homestay with very humble owners. Our room was big, comfortable, everything worked and whilst possibly considered more 'basic' was perfect for myself and my daughter. Hot water shower, super clean bedroom and bathroom, good lighting, useful TV with decent channels for the evenings, air con AMAZING and a very good fan also. Lots of towels. I LOVE the VN mattresses, super firm and a great nights sleep. The pillows were OK but we are very fussy about pillows. Wif worked well. Also worth mentioning is that this homestay is very very well designed. There are no external windws in the rooms and the rooms come off a dark cool corridor (also with no windows) - at our visit Dong Hoi waa ridicualously hot and humid; going back to the homestay was excellent and cool, the room wasnt too hot at all :-) Highly recommedn this place, we stayed for longer and will certainly have good memeories form here and return if we come back to Dong Hoi for a third time. The host family was so kind! They helped us everything that we needed. For example, my friend was sick, so she took me to buy some medicine at a farmacy. So kind family!!
