Derrick was an outstanding and impressive host - the most welcoming we ever experienced. He gave us great tips on what to do while in Knysna / Brenton and arranged a lunch reservation for us. The guest house is built with a lot of love and attention to detail. It's only a 5 minute walk (downwards) away from the beautiful beach. Our room was spacious, comfortable and very clean.

If you are looking for a place to stay in Knysna, this is it! Vanessa and Trevor were so incredibly accommodating, I felt right at home. The room had everything we needed - recommendations for things to do, a lovely private outdoor seating area, heavenly bed and linens, and the most thoughtful finishing touches! The location was perfect, close to town yet in a quiet area. You can see the golf course from the house and the view was incredible. I wish I could have stayed longer!

We arrived at dusk in a tired and wet state after a sorry experience at a wildlife park on a very rainy day.Dear Leafy gave us such a welcome it helped revive our spirits, just what we needed. Lana showed us around the stunning hotel and our amazing room with spectacular view. We were really looked after. We were able to order a pizza and purchase a bottle of wine. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast excellent. The staff were friendly and the service exceptional.

The three person suite we booked on our first night exceeded our expectations — the room was very nice, well designed, and spacious. It came with air conditioning, a balcony, and a fireplace. We decided to extend our stay for one night after seeing this room — we did the rebooking immediately assuming it was the same one. The second room, however, was not up to par. For family travel, we recommend this suite.
