From our initial meeting, we felt the most genuine and special welcoming from Mark. He was accommodating from the start. When we entered the house, it felt like home away from home. Unja made us feel right at home and it felt like we connected with old friends. The house was exactly what was described and shown on booking.com. The hospitality was superb. We wanted for nothing and were literally waited on hand and foot, treated like royalty and left feeling like family. The picturesque, panoramic view is breathtaking. The calm sounds of the waves really make for a restful sleep before an absolutely devine breakfast. I recommend The Beach Palace unhesitatingly. Thank you, Mark, Unja and Winnie, for making our stay epic!

There aren’t many places like Nakai. From the moment you step through the door, it just feels different—in the best way. The house itself is full of character, with art and artefacts from all over the world that give it a really unique vibe. You can tell a lot of thought has gone into how the space is laid out. It’s not just a place to stay; it’s a place you want to be. What really struck me is how comfortable and relaxed everything feels. It’s the kind of place where you can instantly unwind, like you’ve stepped into a home rather than a hotel. The rooms are spacious and super comfortable. Grant, Karen and the rest of the staff, are a big part of what makes Nakai so special. They’re incredibly warm and truly want you to have a great time. You really feel taken care of. Breakfasts are a highlight—healthy, delicious, and just the right way to start the day. You can spend hours just soaking in the scenery and the unmatched view of the ocean from the deck. There’s also a private beach right down from the house, part of a conservancy, which feels like a bonus. It’s quiet, peaceful, and a perfect place to unwind. Overall, Nakai just has this special, laid-back charm that’s hard to put into words.

I liked Everything about Margate Beach House. Nicole treated us well. When booking I did not notice that I only booked for 2 people instead of 3 I noticed after making payment. Nicole helped us and arranged other room for us the next day and the kids were happy and I am happy. Will definitely come to Margate Beach House again☺️
