Papa (man of the house) and Mama (his wife) were very sweet, nice, friendly and welcoming couple. Papa showed us to our room, brought us two bottles of water and shots of local Rakia. :) The room was very spacious and spottles clean with a huge terrace overlooking an amazing view across Kruje, with a view of the castle as well. The bed was comfortable and we had a very good night sleep. The bathroom was huge and clean with the toiletries also available. It wasn't en-suite, but shared one on the floor. This wasn't a problem as we were the only guests there at that time. The Mama host was so welcoming and prepared a local Albanian breakfast. Huge selection we were offered would simply serve the whole family, not just the two of us. Homemade cake, bread, jams, a massive plate of vegetables, scrambled eggs - all came from their own garden. Location is just on top of the hill where the hiking route that takes 1 hour on top of the mountain, starts. In overall, it was an amazing experience and we loved it there. We actually called them if they had a room available the following evening (which they had), but at the end we decided to move closer to the airport.
