Edmund was responsive & proactive in helping us get to the house as comfortable as possible. Note that it’s a steep, narrow road, uphill drive with 2-way traffic. Edmund met us on the way up and offered to drive the car to their private carpark- we were so thankful for that! The room… wow! You get a beautiful view of the mountains and city. It’s decorated to make you feel cosy ❤️

Everything!!! This was the best place we stayed in all of Albania for several reasons. The guesthouse itself is small and cozy. The location is unbeatable: less than 10 minutes walk to the bazaar and other sights, and very quiet. The restaurant across the street is almost an extension of the guesthouse and the staff there are welcoming and the food is good. The room itself was very small but that’s okay because we only slept there- most time was spent around Gjirokaster or on the terrace. The room and property is immaculately clean, and has one of the best showers I’ve ever had. The real highlights were the terrace and the hosts. That terrace with the view, shade, breeze, and smell of flowers is my happy place. Perfect for reading, relaxing, or having a drink outside. Mimosa and Pandeli are the most gracious, generous, kind, fun, hosts!!! We had so much fun using Google translation and pantomiming to have conversations. Mimosa was kind enough to bring us fresh fruit and salad on the hottest of days. Truly amazing people. Hope to see them again soon!!

The view from the balcony is magnificent, offering a beautiful perspective on the mountains and the city’s castle. I highly recommend this charming place, managed by great people!

The views are spectacular, still it’s close to Gjirokastër. The room and breakfast were perfect, food was so delicious. But what makes this place special is the people - we had a problem with the car, we had a flat tire and a dead battery and they gave it all to help us - even managed to open a closed car repair nearby to bring us a new tire and found a guy who could load the battery. The hospitality was truly unmatched. We would like to recommend this place to everyone who’s looking for the best experience possible. Hope to see you guys again!
