Also the view is awesome and the family super nice. I enjoyed talking to them with the daughter as a perfect English translator. They made every effort to make my stay great and I really enjoyed it. Make sure to have the included breakfast and the delicious dinner for a very fair price. It’s homemade, yummy and plenty. Thank you very much for everything!!!

There are many high rated accommodations in Valbonë, so choosing was not easy, but we could not be happier with our choice to stay at Guesthouse Lola. The house is very cute, the garden is a dream and Lola was a wonderful host, very friendly and helpful, giving us a warm welcome with delicious fruits, giving us tips for the hike and arranging a luggage transfer to Cerem. The food was absolutely delicious - the best we had in our few days hiking in the region. The room was small but very comfortable. The bathroom shared but very cleaned. We love it and can only recommend it!

If you're still trying to decide where to stay in Valbone, you absolutely must stay here. Everything with our stay was beyond perfect! The view from the mountains at dinner is wonderful, the hosts are incredibly friendly and are brilliant cooks, and all the food cooked for us was fresh and delicious. Our room was clean and the perfect size for what we needed.

I’m so glad we chose this guesthouse! The family is very nice, they also have cut dogs. The room was very clean and the bed incredibly comfy. You can eat both traditional or “basic” food for a good price and it was really really tasty. The breakfast included is very good and consistent. You can take it away if you want to begin your hike early morning. We chose to walk to the starting point which is 30/40min away, but they also can bring you by car.

The hosts are amazing and offer a tasty dinner. We stayed here before and after a multiple day hike in the region and were happy to come back. The hosts even allowed us to leave some of our things we didn’t need during the hike.

Very nice, rustic home, feels like a log cabin. Quiet. The owner and host Mir is awesome, so nice. He made sure we had extra eggs, bread, cheese etc for the trek. Mir makes great coffee too. I think most places in Valbone are quite spread out, we were fortunate to get dropped off at the bottom of his road, maybe 1200 metres walk up. The official trail start is about 2 kilometres away, either arrange a taxi or walk. We chose the latter, downhill from Mir's, used a short cut he recommended, after 12 minutes you arrive to the flat and dry riverbed. The scenery is already amazing and the walk easy when you start early. The restaurant near to Mir's is good as well.
