This was the best place we stayed during our trip in Albania! The room was lovely, clean, and modern. Breakfast and dinner were both wonderful, and the family who hosted us was warm and welcoming. The location is also perfect, making it easy to explore the area. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it!

We had a lovely stay at the Stonehouse Villa. They were so kind to offer us a ride to the starting points of hikes. They know the enviromont by heart and they gave us good recommondations for dayhikes. The hike to the Valbona viewpoint was heavy but so beautiful! We had a lovely and varieted dinner and the breakfast was also very good!

Guesthouse is set away from the road so feels closer to nature with chickens, sheep roaming around. Room was very clean, breakfast and dinner (12eur) are plentiful, and the hosts are very kind. I used a wool blanket and did not feel cold at night (early June). I wasn’t sure how to get to the guesthouse but the shuttle driver directed me down the dry river bed, turning right, and then left after 100m and guesthouse should be at the end of the walkway

This is an amazing opportunity to stay with a local family in gorgeous valley surrounded by mountains. The bedroom is upstairs by an exterior and private staircase with its own bathroom. There were 2 rooms and 2 bathrooms but we were alone since it was a bit off season. We spent our time hiking the area and relaxing in the yard. We ate breakfast and dinner at the guesthouse and the food was fresh, amazing, bountiful and a great value. Be sure to eat here. I requested vegetarian and it was no problem. The hostess and owner is just lovely. I can’t recommend this guesthouse enough. Hands down the best experience of our trip. A real cultural treat. Don’t miss it.

Family run and friendly guesthouse in Valbona. They offer a simple but nice selection of food for lunch and dinner as well as breakfast. The garden invites to relax and thei whole staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We stayed for three nights just to relax and recharge and enjoyed every minute.

The hikes in the area are amazing. We absolutely recommend this place!

The owner was really nice and accomodating, and even picked me up and droped me off at the bus station.
