Very good breakfast including delicious fresh cactus fruit; hotel owners have a farm and even grow fruits in hotel courtyard. Dinner was superb. On our night the (single, fixed-price, all-included) menu was delicious tomato soup with local cheese (extra servings offered and eagerly eaten), large tender beefsteaks, flavorful roast vegetables (from that farm), choice of desserts (we ate fruit compote with nuts), excellent regional wine. The menu changes daily. Bilingual (Spanish/English) owner/manager.

Tierra Andina is a lovely place to stay and Lucas is a great host! We were checking in later than expected and he waited for us, he gave us all the relevant details for arrival and he is very friendly. While staying there, he helped us with tourist information. The location is just perfect, a few mins walk from the main town square, but also user and safe. The breakfast was delicious, with a selection from the local bakery of sweet and savoury, tea, coffee and hot chocolate. If we’ll ever go back to Cafayate, we’ll definitely go back to Lucas, as we had one of the best experiences of our road trip!!
