The rooms at Hosteria Koonek have a private bathroom with hairdryer, and a safety deposit box. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms and public areas. Hosteria Koonek was an amazing place to stay. We only had one night here but it was by far the best place we stayed in Chaltèn and we were sad to leave! The breakfast was great, the staff was amazing, the beds were very comfortable, shower was really nice, and having access to a kitchen was very convenient. We wouldn’t have changed anything.

By far our favourite stay during our 2+ weeks in Patagonia. Quiet but well within walking distance to food, shops, things to do etc, great breakfast and lovely rooms. Ian and Tatiana were the most amazing hosts, super lovely to talk to, have great recommendations and went above and beyond to help with any tours AND to let us try mate. You're missing out if this isn't where you stay in El Calafate!

This family is such a friendly helpful family, our one case got lost on the flight, Santiago their son, connected with the airport personel and the suitcase was delivered the next day. He also booked taxis for us which was a great help. Beds are extremely comfortable.

Only 300 metres from El Chalten city centre, Kaulem Hotel Boutique offers 4 rooms, with exclusive views of the Fitz Roy Mount. Free Wi-Fi and breakfast are provided, and there is a library. Fitz Roy hill is 10 km away. The breakfast was very good. Several choices and they offered to make eggs fresh if you wanted. The apple crisp was to die for!!! Very good medialuna too! The staff was very friendly and helpful. They loaned me poles twice, which were very helpful. Their restaurant suggestions were spot on as were their trail suggestions and weather outlooks. They let us store our bottle of wine in the fridge too! We enjoyed the lounge area every day, lovely. Thanks!
