Located in Asten, only a 5- minute drive from the highway and a 20 -minute drive from Linz, Gasthaus-Pension zum Löwen offers free WiFi accessand free parking on site. The location is perfect , very near motorway. Very quiet at night. Hosts are excellent, very helpful. Room was specious, had everything we needed, even mosquito net. Very clean. Highly recommend if you need good night rest on your journey.

A good-value stopover place to be noted, for it provides very comfortable accommodation - in the room I had, the double bed with its thick mattress and soft topper was one of the best I have ever slept in. The whole room was simply but well-furnished and decorated. Excellent wifi and the street outside is very quiet. Parking was not a problem. As the hotel's name implies, the restaurant offers excellent "Backhendl" - a very tasty chicken cooked in breadcrumbs - an Austrian speciality definitely worth ordering. Friendly service and an easy self check-in procedure (provided you have a smartphone with you).
